Dear Parent / Guardian:

In order to meet the challenge of providing the best education possible for the children of our school district, our instructional staff is committed to providing a high-quality education program. We recognize that having a qualified teacher, as an instructional leader in every classroom is an important component in providing this high-quality education. Therefore, our school district provides all instructional staff with multiple opportunities for professional development with a special emphasis on scientifically based research proven programs. The primary focus for this professional development is to ensure that all teachers and paraprofessionals working in our school are consistently updated with new information, techniques, and the application of their curriculum.

We are proud of our school faculty and staff and sincerely appreciate their tireless efforts to enhance their own professional knowledge and application. Parents and teachers share a common role in providing educational opportunities for children. As educators, we welcome your thoughts, ideas, and concerns. Students, parents, and teachers all working together, are the main components of an effective learning environment and are critical to a child's success.

As the parent of a child enrolled in our school, you have the legal right to request and receive, in a timely manner, pertinent information regarding the professional qualifications of your child's teacher. This information may be obtained by contacting the building principal.

Thank you for your continued assistance.

Sincerely,

Jennifer E. Hobbs

Principal of Curriculum, Federal and Special Programs
